Dr. Janardhan Waghmare is a Writer, Poet, Novelist, College Teacher and Educationist, Agriculturist, Politician and Social Reformer. He is a proud member of Nationalist Congress Party. He has credited as Member, Sub-Committee-I on the Implementation of the Right to Education Act of the Committee on Human Resource Development Dec. 2011 onwards. He is the author of more than 20 Hindi and Marathi books. Also he has a good command over English language. He has written articles and research papers in Marathi and English in various journals, periodicals and magazines. He has had the honour and privilege to be the President of various conferences and seminars. Awarded for literary, educational and social work, namely Meritorious and Ideal Teacher Award Ambedkar Dalit Mitra award, Late Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Award,Dr. Ambedkar Vishesh Seva Puraskar, Dalit Sahitya Academy,Late P.Y.
