A rags to riches personality. Born to a cloth mill worker, brought up in Indore, RahatIndori today is rich with more titles, national and international, than his humble heart can handle. A world-renowned Urdu poet, film lyricist, and even a teacher for a part of his career. Tracks like “BhumroBhumro” from “Mission Kashmir” and “DekhoDekhoJanam Ham” from “Ishq” are the prodigies of his penmanship. Truly an all-rounder, not only was he brainy but a sportsman as well during his college days as captain of both football and hockey teams.
